Getting your branded loyalty app live is faster than you might expect. Pocketshop is built for business owners and marketing teams — not developers — so the entire setup process happens through guided conversations with your onboarding specialist and a simple CRM interface. This guide walks you through every step from your first contact with Pocketshop to welcoming your first loyalty customers.
Most businesses complete onboarding and go live within a few business days. Complex setups — such as POS integrations or multi-brand configurations — may take a little longer, and your onboarding specialist will give you a tailored timeline.

Setup Steps

1

Book Your Demo and Onboarding

Start by scheduling a personalised demo at pocketshop.at/en/demo. During this session, a Pocketshop specialist will walk you through the platform, answer your questions, and discuss the best configuration for your business. What to prepare before your demo:
  • A brief description of your business type and size
  • Your current loyalty or retention approach (if any)
  • Any specific features you want to explore — for example, WhatsApp campaigns or Shopify integration
After the demo, you’ll agree on a setup plan and your onboarding process begins immediately.
2

Set Up Your Corporate Identity

Your Pocketshop specialist configures your white-label app with your brand assets. You’ll provide:
  • Logo — a high-resolution version suitable for the app icon and splash screen
  • Brand colours — primary and accent colours in HEX format
  • App name — the name your customers will see in the App Store and Google Play
  • Tone of voice — any naming conventions or messaging style guidelines for in-app copy
Not sure how your brand will look in the app? Use the free App Configurator to preview your logo and colours in a live mockup before onboarding begins.
Once your identity is applied, your CRM account is provisioned and you receive your login credentials.
3

Configure Your Loyalty Programme

Log in to the Pocketshop CRM and navigate to the Loyalty section. Here you define the rules that govern how customers earn and spend rewards.Key settings to configure:
  • Points ratio — how many points a customer earns per unit of currency spent (for example, 1 point per €1)
  • Daily earning limit — the maximum points a customer can earn in a single day
  • Welcome bonus — a one-time points gift awarded when a customer joins your loyalty programme
  • Stamp card rules — if you use stamp cards, set the number of stamps required per reward and define the reward itself
  • Tier thresholds — if you use tier-based rewards (Bronze, Silver, Gold), set the points milestones for each level and the benefits unlocked at each tier
Publish your loyalty programme when you’re ready. Customers will see it immediately the next time they open your app.
4

Create and Publish Your First Campaign

Navigate to Campaigns in the CRM and create your first message. Choose your channel — push notification, WhatsApp, SMS, or RCS — and define your audience using the built-in segmentation tools.A simple first campaign to try:
  • Audience: All registered customers
  • Channel: Push notification
  • Message: A welcome message announcing your loyalty programme is now live, with a reminder of the welcome bonus points they’ve already received
  • Timing: Send immediately or schedule for a high-engagement time (for example, mid-morning on a weekday)
Use the AI-assisted prompt feature to generate and refine your message copy if you need a starting point. Review the preview, confirm your audience count, and publish.
5

Invite Your First Customers

Grow your app’s registered user base from day one. You have several channels to drive downloads and sign-ups:
  • In-store: Display your app’s QR code at the point of sale or on printed materials
  • Email: Send a launch announcement to your existing customer list with a link to download the app
  • Social media: Share your app store links and highlight the welcome bonus as an incentive to join
  • Website widget: Embed a download prompt on your website (your onboarding specialist can assist with setup)
Track new registrations in the Analytics section of the CRM to monitor early growth.
