Pocketshop’s analytics dashboard gives you a clear, real-time picture of how customers interact with your app — from the first time they open it to their long-term loyalty. Instead of guessing what’s working, you can make confident, data-driven decisions about your marketing, your rewards programme, and the overall customer experience you’re delivering.

What Analytics Tracks

Campaign Performance

Monitor every campaign you send — push notifications, emails, and in-app messages — and see exactly how many customers opened, clicked, and converted.

User Behaviour

Discover which features customers use most, where they drop off, and how usage patterns shift over time so you can continuously improve your app.

Segment Insights

Break down behaviour by customer segment to understand how different groups engage with your loyalty programme, offers, and content.

Customer Journey

Follow each customer from their very first interaction through to long-term retention, identifying key moments where you can deepen engagement.

Campaign Metrics at a Glance

Every campaign you run generates a set of performance metrics automatically. Use the table below as a reference for what each metric tells you and why it matters.

Building Customer Profiles

Analytics doesn’t just track isolated events — it builds up a rich, cumulative profile of each customer over time. As customers scan receipts, redeem rewards, open messages, and browse your app, Pocketshop records and aggregates that behaviour into a unified view. This lets you understand who your most engaged customers are, what motivates them, and where friction is slowing people down. The more data you collect, the more precisely you can tailor your offers, communications, and loyalty tiers to match real audience preferences.

Segmented Analytics

One of the most powerful ways to use analytics is through the lens of your customer segments. Rather than looking at your entire user base as a single block, segmented analytics lets you evaluate behaviour for each distinct group — for example, comparing how VIP members respond to campaigns versus customers who haven’t made a purchase in 60 days. This comparison often surfaces surprising insights: a segment that looks small by headcount may generate disproportionate revenue, or a large segment may be consistently ignoring a certain message type, signalling a need for different content.

Accessing Your Analytics Dashboard

1

Open the Analytics section

Log in to your Pocketshop CRM and select Analytics from the main navigation menu on the left.
2

Choose a date range

Use the date picker at the top of the dashboard to set the time window you want to analyse. You can compare periods to spot trends.
3

Review the overview cards

The top row of cards shows your key headline metrics — active users, total campaigns sent, average open rate, and point redemptions — giving you an instant health check.
4

Drill into a specific report

Select any chart or metric card to open the detailed report view. From here you can filter by segment, campaign type, or customer cohort.
5

Export or share

Use the Export button to download report data as a CSV, or copy a shareable link to send a live view to a colleague.
If you notice a feature with unusually low engagement — for example, a rewards tier that very few customers ever reach — use the user behaviour report to identify where customers are dropping off. Small friction points like a confusing redemption flow often account for a large drop in conversion, and fixing them can produce an outsized improvement.
Pocketshop analytics integrates directly with marketing automation, so insights you discover can feed straight back into your campaign logic. For example, you can trigger a re-engagement campaign automatically when a customer’s activity drops below a threshold you define — creating a closed loop between measurement and action.
